We specialize in custom uniforms and branded apparel, completing all embroidery, transfers, and patches in-house. One of our biggest selling points is offering our clients custom, free web portals to streamline their uniform ordering. Because we operate as a close-knit team, everyone wears a few hats and supports one another. We are looking for an eager, entry-level team member to join our marketing department and help support our growing operations. We are fully willing to train the right person! Role Overview Are you looking to kickstart your marketing career and learn practical, hands-on strategies for a growing business? We are seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Marketing Assistant to help streamline our day-to-day digital marketing, e-commerce store management, and customer support tasks. You will work alongside our current marketing leader, gaining real-world experience in digital tools, email marketing, pricing calculations, and content generation.
Key Responsibilities Store & Product Management:
Build and maintain client-specific web shops using templates; update listings, pricing, and product details.
Email Marketing:
Assist in designing and scheduling campaigns using Mailchimp, as well as emailing voucher codes directly to client employees.
Content Creation & Search Strategy:
Draft blog posts, articles, and product descriptions using AI tools (e.g., Gemini) combined with vendor details. Assist with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and AI Search Optimization (ASO) to help our brand rank across traditional search engines and generative AI search tools.
Design & Photo Editing:
Edit product photos and resize artwork/logos for client listings and promotional materials.
Pricing & Data Support:
Calculate and update product pricing using Excel formulas.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Computer Experience:
2+ years of comfortable, daily computer use.
Core Applications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (ability to write formulas for pricing calculations is essential; certification is a plus) and Microsoft Outlook .
Design Software:
Basic experience with Canva OR CorelDRAW .
Math & Spatial Skills:
Strong math skills for Excel formulas, resizing artwork/logos accurately, and calculating order totals.
Communication & Writing:
Strong written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and reading levels for different audiences.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational habits, and the ability to multitask and switch priorities seamlessly in a fast-paced environment. Preferred (Bonus Points, Not Required): Familiarity with tools like Mailchimp, Gemini / AI tools, Canva, CorelDRAW, or Jotform . Exposure to digital marketing platforms like Google AdWords, Google Merchant Center, or SEMrush . Basic knowledge of CRM software ( HubSpot or Act CRM ), QuickBooks Desktop , or FTP Servers .
