Company Description:
Founded in 1919, AUC moved to a new 260-acre state-of-the-art campus in New Cairo in 2008. The university also operates in its historic downtown facilities, offering cultural events, graduate classes, and continuing education. Student housing is available in New Cairo. Job Description:
The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication invites applications for a non-tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor in Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC). A Ph.D. in this or a relevant discipline is required. The candidate will teach courses in the MMCJ undergraduate program and may also teach at the graduate level. Teaching responsibilities will include courses such as Principles of Advertising and Integrated Marketing Communication, Advertising Agency Operations, Consumer Buyer Behavior, Copywriting, and Media Planning. The candidate is required to engage in scholarly research and contribute to program development. The candidate will also be expected to actively participate in student advising, and department, school, and university service. Demonstration of potential for excellence in teaching, research, and commitment to undergraduate and/or graduate education is expected.
Requirements:
A Ph.D. in Journalism/Communication or a relevant field. A strong proven record of scholarly research. Experience in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
