Part-time or full-time internship Position Summary Overton Industries is seeking a Marketing Intern to support digital content, employee communications, recruitment marketing, and broader brand initiatives. This hands-on role will translate people, processes, and manufacturing capabilities into clear, engaging content for internal and external audiences. The intern will collaborate with Marketing, Human Resources, Sales, Engineering, Operations, and shop-floor subject-matter experts. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and produce shop-floor training videos, including onboarding modules and human resources process walkthroughs.
  • Create "Day in the Life" videos, employee spotlights, and work-place culture content for recruiting and internal communications.
  • Develop photo, video, graphic, and written content that highlights manufacturing capabilities, equipment, technical expertise, and project outcomes.
  • Design employee engagement materials such as holiday flyers, internal communications, event graphics, and program announcements.
  • Support recruitment efforts by creating career fair content, apprenticeship materials, and internship program visuals.
  • Assist with website, social media, and email content updates while maintaining accuracy, brand consistency, and accessibility.
  • Help create customer-facing and sales-support materials such as capability sheets, case studies, project spotlights, and trade show graphics.
  • Conduct basic industry and competitor research, and track content performance metrics to identify opportunities and improve engagement.
  • Use creative tools and platforms such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Envato Elements, and similar software to edit video, design graphics, source properly licensed creative assets, and produce high-quality visual content.
  • Maintain organized digital assets, training materials, and internal documentation using consistent naming and version-control practices.
  • Follow Overton brand standards, confidentiality requirements, and all shop-floor safety and personal protective equipment guidelines. Qualifications
Education :
Current high school student with demonstrated interest and foundational knowledge in marketing or currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.
    Skills :
    Basic understanding of digital marketing principles, including content creation, branding, and audience engagement. Foundational experience with content-creation tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Envato Elements, or comparable design, video, and creative-asset platforms; coursework, personal projects, or equivalent experience are welcome. Strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Comfort working in an active manufacturing environment and following safety, PPE, and confidentiality requirements. Experience with photography, videography, copywriting, website content, social media, email marketing platforms, CRM tools, spreadsheets, contact-list management, or basic analytics is a plus but not required. A portfolio or examples of creative work are appreciated but not required. Learning Opportunities
