Job Description

Marketing Intern — Part-Time (15 Hours/Week) Role The Marketing Intern will support the development and execution of the organization's marketing strategy. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who wants hands-on experience in marketing, content creation, social media, customer outreach, and campaign planning. Responsibilities Help create and execute an overall marketing plan aligned with organizational goals. Research target audiences, competitors, market trends, and potential marketing opportunities. Assist with developing and implementing marketing campaigns and promotions. Create and schedule social media content across relevant platforms. Assist with email marketing, newsletters, and customer communications. Develop marketing materials, including flyers, digital content, presentations, and promotional materials. Monitor marketing activities and track basic performance metrics. Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across marketing channels. Help identify opportunities to increase brand awareness, engagement, and customer reach. Collaborate with team members on marketing projects and special initiatives. Provide regular updates on marketing activities, results, and recommendations for improvement. Work Experience Previous marketing, communications, social media, sales, or customer service experience is helpful but not required . Internship, volunteer, school, freelance, or personal project experience involving marketing or social media may be considered. Experience creating content or managing social media accounts is a plus. Education Currently pursuing or recently completed an associate's or bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, Digital Media , or a related field. Students with relevant coursework, projects, or demonstrated marketing skills are encouraged to apply. Skills & Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skills. Creative thinking and an interest in developing new marketing ideas. Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Basic research and analytical skills. Familiarity with Canva, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar tools is a plus. Willingness to learn and take initiative. Ability to commit to approximately 15 hours per week .
