Job Description

Title Marketing Assistant | NJ, Newton EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer. Description Compensation:
$16.00 per hour Medical/Medical stipend, Dental Vision, benefit time, 401K, Tuition reimbursement. Schedule M-F 830a-430p. Some weekends. Processes data entry of daily donations/memorials. Generates appropriate responses/letters to donors in a timely manner. Assists with fundraising events, including mailings, fulfillments, registration and solicitation as called upon. Assists with Marketing dept. materials and business equipment. Performs filing as assigned or as needed. Runs monthly donor/fundraising reports when requested. Provides back-up for Receptionist as needed. Participates in all required in service education programs and meetings. Demonstrates a commitment to own work schedule by adhering to attendance standards. Provides proper notification in advance for absence and tardiness. Adheres to employment policies in accordance with the Employee Handbook Demonstrates compliance with the dress code policy by appearing well groomed, wearing ID badge while on duty and maintaining a professional appearance. Performs other duties as assigned within the Marketing Department.
Position Requirements Required Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of administrative office procedures, including letter composition, the completion of forms, and file maintenance. Ability to work independently to complete tasks with minimal supervision Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with employees, vendors, and the public via telephone and in person. Ability to comprehend the spoken and written English language, to communicate with clarity both verbally and in writing. Well organized to manage workflow, documentation, file maintenance and recordkeeping Proficiency in working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software.
Education and Experience:
Required Education:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Education:
Some college or business school
Required Experience:
One year of business office experience in a similar administrative support role
