Marketing Associate & Graphic Designer Description:
Greater Boston Stage Company seeks a creative,anized, and detail-oriented Marketing Associate & Graphic Designer to support the promotion of our Mainstage productions, Young Company programs, special events, and institutional initiatives. Working closely with the Director of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships, this part-time position focuses on creating marketing assets from existing production artwork, maintaining and updating thepany's WordPress , and producing and digital collateral. The ideal candidate is a strong designer with excellentanizational skills and an interest in arts and nonprofit marketing. This position is expected to begin at approximately 10 hours per week, with the potential to grow in both hours and responsibilities as theanization's marketing needs continue to expand. Graphic Design & Asset Creation Adapt and extend season and production artwork into cohesive marketing assets across , digital, and social media platforms. Format season brochures, show programs, trifolds, postcards, flyers, underlings, lobby signage, and other patron-facing materials. Create graphics for fundraising campaigns, education, special events, and institutional initiatives. Assist with front-of-house marketing materials, including digital lobby monitors and signage. Maintain visual consistency across all marketing materials andanizational branding. & Digital Content Management Maintain and update Greater Boston Stage Company's WordPress . Update and build production pages, event listings, graphics, and promotional content. Create graphics and promotional banners as needed. Ensure content is accurate and visually engaging. Support social media content creation. Marketing Support & Project Management Coordinate production of ed materials with vendors and ers. Maintain marketing deadlines across multiple productions and departments. Capture andanize rehearsal photography for marketing use. Assist with advertising trades and promotional partnerships. Collaborate with marketing, education, and development staff to supportanizational goals. Contribute creative ideas that help strengthen audience engagement andmunity visibility.
Qualifications:
Experience in Graphic Design, Marketing, Arts Administration, or a related field. Strong graphic design skills with a portfolio demonstrating creative design work. Experience maintaining and updating WordPress s required. Stronganizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and manage priorities efficiently. Interest in theatre, live events, arts marketing, and nonprofitanizations strongly preferred. Photography experience a plus.
