Job Description

We are looking for a creative, organized and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who loves social media, content creation, photography and visual storytelling, but is equally comfortable working behind the scenes to keep projects organized and moving forward. We are a b2b skincare company serving licensed estheticians and skincare professionals across the country. Our brand combines professional skincare education with a thoughtful, editorial approach to beauty, and we're looking for someone who can help us bring that story to life across our social platforms and marketing channels. What You'll Do A large part of this position will involve supporting and helping to manage our social media presence across multiple Instagram accounts. You'll help plan, schedule and publish content while making sure each account stays active, consistent and aligned with the larger brand lens. You'll work closely with our Social Media Manager to maintain and manage the content calendar, keep track of upcoming launches, promotions, education and campaigns, and make sure content is planned and ready when it needs to go live. Depending on your skill set, you may also help create content yourself, including photography, short-form video, Reels, behind-the-scenes content and other social assets. You'll assist with photoshoots and video shoots, helping with everything from preparation and organization to keeping track of the assets we create. This role will also support the day-to-day needs of the marketing department, which may include organizing photo and video libraries, sourcing inspiration, helping prepare products and props for shoots, assisting with campaign planning and jumping into new projects as they come up. We'd Love to Meet Someone Who Is genuinely interested in social media, beauty, branding, or content creation and has a strong visual eye. You should be highly organized and comfortable managing multiple projects at once. We have several social accounts, frequent product launches and a lot of content moving at any given time, so we need someone who enjoys keeping track of details and making sure things don't fall through the cracks. You should also be comfortable with Instagram and short-form video and have a good understanding of what makes content feel current and engaging without simply chasing every trend. Experience with tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite or similar content-creation platforms is a plus. Photography, videography or video-editing experience is also a plus, but we're equally interested in someone who has a great eye and is excited to continue developing those skills. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is creative, dependable, proactive and collaborative. We want someone who notices what needs to be done, brings ideas to the table and is excited to grow with the role. Responsibilities Help manage and maintain multiple Instagram accounts Schedule and publish social media content Maintain and update the company content calendar Assist with planning content around launches, promotions, education and campaigns Create or assist with creating Instagram posts, Stories, Reels and short-form video Help prepare and organize products, props and shot lists for content shoots Organize photo, video and other digital marketing assets Help identify content opportunities and develop new ideas Support the marketing team with ongoing campaigns and projects Monitor social platforms and stay aware of relevant content and platform trends Help ensure our visual identity and voice remain consistent across our accounts Qualifications Previous professional marketing experience is helpful, but we're also open to someone earlier in their career who has excellent instincts and the ability to learn quickly. Experience managing social media accounts, creating content, photography, videography or video editing is strongly preferred. Experience within beauty, skincare, fashion, lifestyle or another visually driven industry would be a plus. Candidates should have strong written communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines without needing constant direction.
