This role is ideal for an organized, resourceful self-starter who enjoys variety and moves comfortably between creative marketing projects and more research-based tasks. The Marketing Assistant works on the marketing team to support website content, branding, events, business development research, and internal communications. This is a full-time, hands-on role for someone who is curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable wearing multiple hats across marketing support. What You'll Do Marketing & Content Development Support website content development, including attorney bios, practice area descriptions, and case stories that showcase the firm's work and capabilities. Draft and update attorney bios, award submissions, the firm's Insider newsletter, and social media content. Support firmwide branding and visual identity initiatives to promote consistency across communications. Conduct periodic website and process sheet audits to ensure content remains current, accurate, and consistent. Research & Business Intelligence Research prospective clients, peer firms, and strategic business development opportunities. Prepare litigation analytics reports (using Westlaw) and competitive benchmarking analyses. Support CRM data entry, maintenance, and reporting. Events, Calendaring & Operational Support Manage calendaring and scheduling for marketing team meetings, attorney luncheons, and firm events, coordinating attorney calendars as needed. Coordinate event logistics for firm programs, including internal events, retreats, and community/charity events. Coordinate conference registrations and order business cards as needed. Provide non-strategic recruiting support. Support onboarding and offboarding administrative tasks, including new hire materials and employee exit processes. Maintain firm mailing and distribution lists. Help manage the firm's gifting program, including birthday gifts, employee celebrations, and other life-event acknowledgments such as weddings, milestones, and condolences. Who You Are A resourceful self-starter who enjoys variety and moves easily between varied tasks. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities at once. A clear, capable writer who can translate complex information for different audiences. Comfortable working in a professional services environment with attorneys and staff at all levels. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Prior marketing or communications experience preferred; legal or professional services experience a plus. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with Westlaw, CRM platforms, Canva, and social media tools preferred. Exceptional attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
