Job Description:
A marketing internship at BSP Law, will allow you to hone a wide variety of skills necessary for a marketing/communications career, provide an opportunity to build your portfolio, and expose you to a network of Fortune 500 clients. You will work with the Chief Marketing Officer and Marketing & Events Lead to assist in the firm's social media content creation, website development, branding, event planning, business development, presentation creation, research, and charitable efforts. This position will be in-person at our office in Troy, MI.Skills:
- Must have excellent writing skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Must be a self-starter with ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and/or Canva is preferred but not required.
Duties:
- Assist with the management of the company website and social media.
- Coordinate and execute email-marketing campaigns using Constant Contact.
- Coordinate internal, external, and virtual events, including hosted seminars and receptions, speaking engagements, sponsorships, and in-house meetings (this may require occasional after-hour events).
- Develop and execute yearly strategic marketing plans and campaigns in line with company objectives.
- Draft and review copy/marketing messages for accuracy and relevance to the audience.
- Create/design print ads, social media graphics, presentations, and additional marketing materials.
- Perform research on a variety of topics, including legal trends, technology, and more.
- Other duties as assigned.
