Job Description

The Marketing Assistant builds and maintains strong customer and employee relationships. Assists with the coordination of advertising programs, sales promotions, public relations activities, communications and promotion materials in an accurate and professional manner. This is a full-time position with the full Cornerstone Bank employee benefit package.
JOB DUTIES
Assist the Department Manager with development and administration of the bank-wide media marketing plan including advertising, communications and promotion materials. Develop and create advertising materials including digital content, print ads, brochures, radio and promotional materials. Produce bank newsletter on a bi-monthly basis. Coordinate, organize and promote marketing functions and special events for all branches (home shows, open houses, parades etc.). Responsible for social media content and video production. Provide creative input and communications support for all areas of the Bank, including Insurance and Investment offices, concerning ad production and placement, signage and promotional materials.
QUALIFICATIONS
Equivalent to a high school education. Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field preferred or 2-3 years related work experience will be considered. Working knowledge of advertising production and placement. Must be accurate and detail oriented. Working knowledge of personal computers and the suite of Microsoft Office products, Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe After Effects. Experience with social networks and web development preferred. Ability to interact effectively with customers, management and co-workers. Ability to work in a team atmosphere and independently.
