This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented individual to learn from a team of outstanding professionals. Under the Marketing Director, the intern will support the Marketing Department with a variety of tasks to meet the marketing goals of the region. The intern requires a range of practical and people skills, as well as knowledge of organizational policies and procedures. The position will support promotional and proposal efforts and will involve a variety of tasks such as: coordinate, research, compose and work with graphics, photos, and videos in the preparation of marketing material and activities. It will also include input of information to databases and other reports. Responsibilities Have an affinity for multi-modal transportation.

Provide assistance on proposals.

Writing and editing.

Support with graphic layout and design.

Compile content.

Perform market research.

Develop of marketing materials.

Coordinate with marketing and technical staff.

Participate in meetings.

Contribute to database input, design, and maintenance. Required Skills & Required Experience Currentlt pursuing a college degree in Marketing, Communications, or other related field

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite a plus

Ability to effectively communicate and work in a team environment

Proactive in accomplishing tasks

Exceptional attention to detail

Ability to interact with staff at all levels

Ability to organize and prioritize tasks

Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous deadlines

Professional demeanor

Exceptional writing skills

Experience working with Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel).

Salary Range $18.75/hour - $29.75/hour. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly. Program Information Summer Intern Program During the summer intern program, interns gain hands-on project experience, develop technical skills, and put their classroom knowledge into action. Our interns are assigned meaningful work and are given the opportunity to work on projects similar to what they would be engaging with as a full-time employee.
