$65,000 per year Position Overview Bruderer Machinery Inc. and its associated wholly owned companies are seeking a Marketing Generalist to support and coordinate marketing activities across the organization. This is a hands-on position for an organized, creative, and detail-oriented marketing professional who can manage multiple initiatives while working closely with internal teams, outside partners, media outlets, content creators, and industry organizations. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of modern marketing and be comfortable moving between content creation, social media, email marketing, website oversight, trade shows, reporting, and day-to-day marketing coordination. This position is primarily in-office in Ridgefield, NJ , with approximately 90% of work performed on-site. Key Responsibilities Content & Digital Marketing Create, coordinate, and maintain marketing content for company websites, social media channels, email campaigns, sales materials, and other marketing platforms. Collaborate with internal teams and external content creators, photographers, videographers, designers, and other marketing partners. Develop written and visual content that effectively communicates the company's products, capabilities, services, and industry expertise. Maintain a consistent brand voice and presentation across marketing materials and digital channels. Assist with basic graphic design, editing, and content production as needed. Social Media & Email Marketing Manage and maintain company social media accounts and content calendars. Plan, create, schedule, and monitor social media content. Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, newsletters, announcements, and promotional communications. Track campaign performance and make recommendations for improving engagement and results. Monitor relevant industry conversations, trends, and opportunities for company participation. Website & SEO Oversee day-to-day marketing-related updates and content for company websites. Coordinate with internal personnel and outside website providers/developers when technical assistance is required. Identify opportunities to improve website content, organization, usability, and overall marketing effectiveness. Apply basic SEO principles, including keyword usage, page content, titles, descriptions, and content optimization. Monitor website performance and identify areas for improvement. Media & Industry Relations Interface with trade publications, industry media outlets, editors, and other relevant media contacts. Assist with press releases, company announcements, product news, and media outreach. Identify opportunities for editorial coverage, interviews, product features, and other industry exposure. Maintain organized records of media contacts, opportunities, submissions, and results. Trade Shows & Events Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing company participation in trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and industry events. Coordinate marketing materials, displays, promotional items, literature, signage, and other event-related requirements. Work with internal teams and outside vendors to ensure marketing needs are addressed before, during, and after events. Help track leads, exposure, engagement, and results associated with trade shows and other marketing activities. Reporting & Performance Tracking Track and report on the performance of marketing initiatives across digital, social media, email, website, media, and trade show activities. Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular reporting to management. Analyze marketing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas where efforts can be improved. Maintain organized records of campaigns, marketing assets, contacts, performance data, and other marketing-related information. Use data and performance results to help guide future marketing decisions. Artificial Intelligence & Emerging Marketing Tools Identify practical opportunities to use AI and emerging technologies to improve the efficiency, quality, and effectiveness of company marketing. Utilize AI tools to assist with content development, research, brainstorming, campaign planning, reporting, data analysis, workflow organization, and other appropriate marketing functions. Stay informed about useful developments in AI and digital marketing while maintaining appropriate standards for accuracy, confidentiality, brand consistency, and human oversight. Recommend new tools or processes when they can provide a meaningful benefit to the company. Additional Responsibilities Support the overall marketing needs of Bruderer Machinery Inc. and its associated wholly owned companies. Maintain and organize marketing files, materials, digital assets, literature, promotional items, and other resources. Assist with special projects and marketing initiatives as assigned. Work closely with sales, management, engineering, service, and other internal departments to understand and support company marketing objectives. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional working environment. Represent the company professionally when communicating with customers, vendors, media outlets, content creators, and industry organizations. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred. Prior experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, or a related role. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously. Strong attention to detail. Comfortable working independently while also collaborating effectively with teammates. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office platform , particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Microsoft Access is not required. Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools. Experience with email marketing platforms and campaign management. Basic understanding of SEO and website content management. Ability to interpret marketing data and performance metrics. Comfortable communicating with outside vendors, media outlets, content creators, and other business partners. Willingness to learn new technology and marketing platforms. Demonstrated ability to use AI tools effectively and responsibly to support marketing activities.
