Broadway #124 Eugene, OR 97401 Deadline to apply is August 27, 2021 General Statement of Duties The person in this position provides customer service and performs office/clerical and general administrative support Correctly applies newly assigned procedures and practices with little or no supervision. Problem-solves creatively and efficiently Works cooperatively with others Operates a variety of office equipment. Performs arithmetic. Performs other duties as assigned. Performs a variety of office/clerical and administrative tasks, which include: data entry, database management, filing, drafting letters/memos, use of spreadsheets and other related duties as assigned.
Specific Responsibilities:
Becomes well-versed in Saturday Market policies and procedures, membership agreements, and our points system. Processes Saturday Market and Holiday Market member return envelopes (including database entry). Prepares member envelopes for upcoming Saturday Markets. Supports work of Membership Assistant, Marketing Assistant, Marketing Assistant and General Manager. Personnel Management Works effectively with existing staff, Board, committees and volunteers. Recruits, selects, orients, trains, supervises and evaluates all staff. Follows established personnel policies and makes recommendations for changes as needed. Desired Qualifications Event experience Retail experience Education Minimum High School diploma (some college preferred) Experience Minimum One year of administrative experience Upon satisfactory completion of trial period, job becomes permanent
Pay:
From $16.71 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 31.0 per week
