Position Summary Information Job Description Summary:

The Graduate Assistant supports the Communications and Marketing team with a variety of projects and responsibilities. Primary duties include gathering content to support web stories and other original content (this may include meeting with and interviewing subjects), managing the production of internal and external newsletters, supporting event communications (website, posters, and other materials), performing routine web edits, helping to manage the team's inbox and triage requests, attending team meetings, scheduling social media posts, and capturing photos or videos primarily for social media.

Requirements:

Applicants should have strong project management skills, a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple assignments and projects with many connected components. Must be a current full-time graduate student at Villanova. The individual must be highly proficient in all standard computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.

Additional Information:

Preferred but not required: Social media management experience and experience in Canva is a plus. Interest in or experience with writing and story production preferred (such as web profiles and/or social media copy).
