About Boom Athletics Boom Athletics is a performance training company dedicated to developing athletes through intentional coaching, strong culture, and consistent standards. We work with youth, high school, and collegiate athletes to build confidence, character, and elite performance. We're looking for a motivated, creative intern who wants real-world experience in sports marketing and brand growth. Position Overview The Marketing & Advertising Intern will support the growth of Boom Athletics by helping create content, manage social media, assist with campaigns, and contribute to brand strategy. This is a hands-on role ideal for students interested in marketing, communications, sports management, or entrepreneurship. Responsibilities Assist with social media content creation (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) Write captions, posts, and short-form marketing copy Help plan and execute marketing campaigns and promotions Capture photo/video content during training sessions and events Engage with followers and help manage online community Assist with email marketing and client communication Support branding initiatives and local advertising efforts Research trends and suggest creative marketing ideas Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, Sports Management, or related field Strong interest in marketing and athletics Comfortable using social media platforms Basic understanding of content creation (Canva, CapCut, Adobe, etc. a plus) Good communication and writing skills Self-motivated and reliable Willingness to learn and take initiative What You'll Gain Real-world marketing experience in a growing business Hands-on portfolio-building opportunities Mentorship from business owner and coaches Flexible schedule Letter of recommendation upon successful completion Opportunity for continued work after internship
