Marketing Assistant

Mt. Folly Enterprises — which includes MtFolly.com, MtFollyFarm.com, and LaurasMercantile.com — is hiring a creative and organized Marketing Assistant to support our growing marketing team. This role blends digital marketing, on-site content creation, and e-commerce support across our sustainable farm, retail, and lifestyle brands.

Key Responsibilities Content creation:

Film, photograph, and edit engaging video and photo content for social media, websites, and newsletters.

Farm visits:

Travel regularly to Mt. Folly Farm to capture content, interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and promotional stories.

Email marketing:

Build and send marketing campaigns through Klaviyo, plan weekly newsletters, and segment customer lists for audience engagement.

Website and blog management:

Update product listings, upload new blog posts, and ensure all visuals and copy are optimized for SEO and brand consistency.

Social media support:

Assist in posting, monitoring, and responding across social channels to grow engagement.

Creative collaboration:

Work closely with the marketing director and farm team to develop ideas for campaigns, launches, and storytelling projects.

Performance tracking:

Help track email, website, and social analytics to provide insights and suggestions for improvement. Qualifications Proven experience with video shooting and editing (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar). Strong writing and communication skills. Familiarity with email platforms (Klaviyo preferred) and website CMS tools (Shopify, WordPress, Woo). Ability to organize multiple projects and work independently. Comfort working in rural, outdoor environments during farm visits. A passion for sustainable agriculture, heritage brands, and storytelling through visuals.

Details Location:

Hybrid; travel required to Mt. Folly Farm near Montgomery/Clark Line.

Commensurate with experience.
