Position Overview:

Blackbird Brewery/Bird's Nest at Blackbird is seeking a motivated, adaptable individual to support the Marketing Manager with various marketing related tasks, including but not limited to, social media management, event promotion, website maintenance, and blog creation. Potential candidates must be able to demonstrate creativity, flexibility, and initiative in execution of delegated tasks week to week.

Responsibilities:

Content creation for our numerous social media platforms Posting on social media Designing graphics for event flyers, menus, etc Updating websites with event or beer information Writing blogs in collaboration with the marketing manager Proofreading of promotional materials Assist with the drafting and release of newsletters Attendance of certain off-site events for content creation Support the marketing manager with any miscellaneous marketing initiatives

Skills & Competencies:

Proficient Writing Skills Knowledge of Social Media Platforms Ability to create Graphics in Canva Wordpress Knowledge and/or capacity to learn Time Management Skills specifically surrounding content deadlines Adaptability to handle tasks that can vary week to week Critical Thinking Skills in executing tasks autonomously Teamwork Skills necessary for collaborating in content creation Creativity in imagining content for social media platforms Self-motivated and able to perform without micromanagement Passion for cocktails and beer or willingness to learn Experience in hospitality and the service industry

Pay:

From $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 - 10.0 per week
