Job Description

About the Role We are looking for someone to contribute to the way Fava Tea communicates with its customers and staff. You would work closely with the owners and the general management team on communications that support company goals, strengthen customer relationships, and give our retail employees what they need to carry out marketing plans in the stores. The work begins in three areas: email marketing, in-store communications, and internal marketing support. As the position develops, it can grow to include our social media presence and our website. This job suits someone who is comfortable on both sides of marketing. You will help decide what to say, then write it, produce it, and follow it through to the sales floor. Primary Responsibilities Email Marketing Write email content that reflects the Fava Tea brand and supports sales, promotions, product education, and customer relationships Build, schedule, test, and send campaigns to our customer list Keep the customer email list current and well organized Shape an email calendar and look for opportunities for targeted or automated messages Track how campaigns perform and suggest changes based on what customers respond to Confirm that every send is accurate, on time, and in step with company priorities In-Store Communications Create the printed and digital materials used in our retail stores Support promotions, product launches, seasonal campaigns, customer education, and company announcements Coordinate printing, distribution, and setup across store locations Proof materials for accuracy, consistency, and fit with the Fava Tea brand Keep the message steady whether a customer sees it in an email, on a shelf tag, or on a digital display Internal Marketing Support Explain marketing plans, promotions, and expectations to store managers and staff in plain terms Give employees the details and materials they need to carry out each initiative Answer questions and stay available during promotions, campaigns, and product launches Collect feedback from store teams and use it to improve how we communicate Serve as the link between the general management team and the sales floor Planning and Coordination Work with the general management team to set marketing communications priorities and plans Turn company goals into communications that people can act on Manage several projects and deadlines at once Keep organized records of materials, campaign schedules, and project status Review what worked, what fell flat, and recommend adjustments Where the Role Could Go The position is built with room to grow. Depending on your interests and how the work develops, it may expand to include: Running our social media presence and content calendar Creating and publishing social content, and responding to customers there Supporting influencer, partnership, and promotional projects Website content, product information, promotions, and updates Coordinating website projects with staff and outside partners Reviewing performance across email, social media, the website, and our stores Developing and coordinating packaging design What We Are Looking For Clear, engaging writing and comfortable verbal communication A knack for content that customers actually want to read Strong organization and close attention to detail Experience keeping several projects and deadlines moving at the same time Someone who works well independently while staying in close contact with owners, managers, and store staff Willingness to own both the planning and the hands-on production Openness to feedback, revisions, and shifting priorities Marketing or related Helpful, though not required: Familiarity with email marketing platforms, content creation tools, or digital marketing A background in retail, consumer products, food and beverage, hospitality, or small business marketing Curiosity about tea and an interest in learning our products, customers, and brand What Success Looks Like A year into the job, we would expect to see email campaigns going out on schedule and getting opened. In-store materials that look professional and say the right thing. Store employees who know what is running and have what they need to sell it. Customers hearing a consistent message wherever they encounter us. The larger goal is marketing that supports the people in our stores and keeps the business healthy over the long run.
Pay:
From $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 18.0 - 32.0 per week
