Executive Director About Only Throwers Only Throwers is a specialized track and field training organization dedicated to developing elite-level throwers through intentional coaching, technical development, and competitive preparation. We serve middle school, high school, and collegiate athletes who are committed to growth, discipline, and performance excellence. Our brand represents strength, precision, consistency, and results. About the Role Only Throwers is seeking a motivated and organized Sales & Marketing Operations Assistant to help grow our throwing-focused athletic training business. This role will focus heavily on sales, marketing, customer engagement, athlete retention, and business development. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can connect with athletes and families, generate leads, promote training opportunities, and help turn interest into registrations and long-term customers. Key Responsibilities

• Follow up with prospective athletes, families, and other leads.
• Re-engage past and inactive customers to encourage continued training.
• Promote training programs, memberships, camps, events, and services.
• Develop and maintain social media, email, and promotional campaigns.
• Create or coordinate flyers, digital graphics, promotional materials, and other marketing content.
• Identify referral opportunities and potential customers through outreach and networking.
• Identify potential sponsors, schools, teams, businesses, and community partners.
• Support partnership and sponsorship outreach.
• Maintain simple tracking of leads, follow-ups, registrations, and conversions.
• Support customer communication, feedback, and retention efforts.
• Collect athlete testimonials, photos, videos, and stories for marketing.
• Monitor marketing engagement and recommend opportunities for improvement.
• Attend select Only Throwers events to support marketing, customer engagement, outreach, and registration. What We're Looking For
• Experience in sales, marketing, customer service, business development, communications, athletics, or a related field preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable with sales outreach, follow-up, and relationship building.
• Organized and able to manage multiple priorities within a 10-12 hour weekly schedule.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Comfortable using social media and digital communication platforms.
• Experience with email marketing, spreadsheets, CRM systems, or scheduling platforms is a plus.
• Must be located in Indiana and have reliable transportation for required travel.
• Knowledge or interest in track and field, throwing events, or youth athletics is preferred. Compensation & Schedule $15-$19 per hour, based on experience
• This is a part-time contractor position requiring approximately 10-12 hours per week.

The position is primarily remote, with occasional in-person travel required for events, meetings, marketing activities, and community outreach.
