No Description 1. The Write Place needs a student to assist with marketing, the Libguide resources, and as a fill-in tutor in the center. Additional duties may include tutoring in an instructor's classroom or conducting academic integrity or documentation workshops, as requested by instructors. Hours will vary each week but will be at least ten hours during the Fall 2026 Semester. Other duties may be assigned as needed. This job will develop a student's communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills. Dr. Welch will meet weekly with the assistant to discuss upcoming requests for tutoring in the classroom and to discuss progress on marketing and the Libguide. The assistant will work closely with Dr. Welch to create materials for in-class workshops. Success in this position will include developing and refining resources on the Libguide, leading an engaging and ongoing weekly marketing campaign through social media and other avenues, and providing effective tutoring assistance in the classroom, and offering well-designed workshops.
