Job Description

Alderwood Creative is a small, full-service marketing agency that partners with nonprofits, small businesses and organizations throughout East Tennessee and beyond. Because we're a small team, everyone plays an important role. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to real client work from day one while collaborating with experienced marketers, strategists and creatives.

Every day looks a little different. One morning you might be designing social media graphics for a nonprofit, while the afternoon is spent preparing artwork for print, mocking up a new website in Figma or helping develop a brand for a new business.

This opportunity is designed to give you hands-on experience inside a full-service marketing agency. Youll collaborate with our team, contribute creative ideas and help bring client projects to life from concept to final production. You'll work directly with multiple members of our team, helping move projects from concept through production while learning how a marketing agency balances creativity, deadlines and client relationships.

We believe some of the best learning comes from doing. Youll have the opportunity to build your portfolio while gaining experience with the day-to-day pace, priorities and problem-solving that come with agency life.

What You'll Work OnProjects will vary based on client needs, but may include:

Social media graphicsSocial media Reels and short-form video contentWebsite mockups and page layouts (including Figma)Event posters and flyersBusiness forms and marketing collateralBooklets and multi-page publicationsEvent signage and displaysBrand development and logo conceptsEmail templatesGeneral creative support across a variety of client projectsResize and adapt creative for multiple platformsPrepare print-ready artwork and production filesUpdate existing client materials and templatesAssist with photography selection and asset organizationYoull also have opportunities to sit in on brainstorming sessions, client meetings and project planning discussions to see how creative work fits into the larger marketing strategy.
