Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for an energetic and motivated Marketing Assistant to help grow our brand presence both online and in the community. This is a hands-on role that blends digital marketing with real-world outreach — you will spend time in the field representing our brand, connecting with people, and driving awareness through creative and consistent marketing efforts. If you love talking to people, staying organized, and seeing the direct results of your work, this role is for you. Duties
- Distribute flyers, promotional materials, and branded collateral at targeted locations in the community
- Attend local events, grand openings, expos, and networking functions to represent and promote the business
- Assist with event setup, teardown, and on-site coordination to ensure a professional brand presence
- Host or co-host promotional events and activations that drive awareness and foot traffic
- Build relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community members on behalf of the company
- Support email marketing campaigns including drafting content, sending campaigns, and tracking open rates
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date lead tracking log (CRM or spreadsheet) with contact details, notes, and follow-up status
- Report on outreach activity and lead progress on a regular basis to management
- Assist the marketing team with day-to-day administrative and creative tasks as needed
- Help prepare marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, and presentations
- Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities and campaigns
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitors, and local market activity
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills — comfortable talking to new people in any setting
- Strong attention to detail, especially when tracking leads and follow-up tasks
- Comfortable with basic digital tools — email platforms, social media, Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends for events when needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred (for field outreach)
