Marketing & Content Assistant -
Job Description Position Summary:
The Marketing & Content Assistant helps turn company programming into engaging digital content that attracts viewers, promotes shows, and makes it easy for guests to share their appearances with their own audiences. This role is ideal for someone who is creative, social media savvy, and understands what makes people stop scrolling and watch.
Key Responsibilities:
Create eye-catching thumbnails for shows, videos, and other digital content. Write compelling, click-worthy show titles using strong hooks that accurately reflect the content. Identify engaging moments from programming and edit them into short-form clips for social media. Create and edit shorts, reels, and other promotional video content. Send guests their show clips and related promotional materials. Help promote shows and programming across YouTube and social media platforms. Assist with additional marketing, social media, and content-related projects as assigned. Maintain consistent branding and quality across all digital content.
Requirements:
Creative with a strong eye for design and attention-grabbing content. Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging, click-worthy titles. Hands-on experience with Canva, CapCut, or similar design and video-editing tools . Must be able to independently create thumbnails and edit shorts/reels. Familiarity with YouTube and social media algorithms and what drives viewer engagement. Portfolio or examples of previous content creation work strongly preferred. Recent graduates and college students are encouraged to apply if their schedule allows for full-time, on-site work . Extensive professional experience is not required, but candidates should be able to provide examples demonstrating their creativity and skills. Must be dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple content projects.
Schedule & Pay:
Full-time, on-site position
Pay:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour Pay based on experience, skill level, and demonstrated portfolio
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
