Job Description:
The Marketing & Video Content Assistant will support the Career Center's marketing, communications, and event initiatives, with a particular emphasis on creating engaging video content for student audiences. This position is ideal for a creative, motivated individual seeking hands-on experience in video production, marketing, communications, social media, and event promotion. Working directly with the Career Center Communications and Media Manager and collaborating with other Career Center staff, the Marketing Assistant will help develop content to promote Career Center programs, services, resources, and events, and provide logistical and project support for broader marketing and communications initiatives. Responsibilities
  • Develop creative and compelling video content ideas that align with Career Center programs, services, events, and marketing goals.
  • Plan, script, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for social media and other digital platforms.
  • Assist with developing social media and promotional content designed to engage Baylor students.
  • Provide marketing and communications support for Career Center initiatives, campaigns, programs, and events.
  • Assist with various projects, activities, and tasks related to marketing and communications.
  • Support the implementation of marketing and communications strategies.
  • Assist with event promotion, preparation, setup, and other logistical needs.
  • Work collaboratively with Career Center staff while also demonstrating the ability to take initiative and complete assignments independently.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service when interacting with students, employers, campus partners, and other Career Center audiences.
  • Demonstrate effective teamwork and professional communication.
  • Comply with University policies and procedures.
