The Digital Content Producer helps the team with writing web stories, managing station-branded social media accounts, and contributing content to our streaming platforms. Ability to be on camera and ad-lib breaking news is a plus. Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Works with the digital content manager on strategic vision for the digital department and platforms including WAFF.com, WAFF's social media pages, YouTube and digital streaming channels
- Focused on a "Digital First News Strategy" including writing web stories, app pushes, livestreams and social media content
- Cross-departmental collaboration and willingness to work in a team environment.
- Schedule could involve working nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in journalism, broadcast media, or related field
- Previous experience in the digital field required
- Knowledge of AP Style required
