Apple Store Online is redefining how Apple shows up in a world where AI agents increasingly mediate discovery, evaluation, and purchase. This innovative and future-focused role is central to that shift. The person in this role will help the ASO Digital Experience team ideate, launch, and manage Apple's retail presence on emerging agentic surfaces, helping customers discover, evaluate, and purchase Apple products in ways that are intelligent, trustworthy, and deeply personal. This is a build-from-scratch role that demands not only strategic range, but also operational rigor. You'll move fluidly and fast, creating links insights, product and design, and analytics to turn early, ambiguous signals about agentic behavior into scoped experiments and shippable experiences but strategy alone isn't enough. This role needs someone who can drive for results, stand up new processes and partnerships where none exist, navigate cross-functional dependencies, and push work through to launch. You should be as comfortable running a program and clearing blockers as you are shaping the vision, and you should have proven experience getting things done in a space that's still being defined. Description This role drives the strategy for experiences across emerging agentic platforms that represent the next frontier of digital retail. You will define how customers discover, learn, shop and buy Apple on these platforms. This role will require significant partnership with teams across Apple, including Apple Store Online teams, PR, Business Development, Finance, and Marketing. Success in this role means delivering agentic experiences that uphold Apple's brand.","responsibilities":"Define how customers navigate, learn, shop, configure, and purchase products across LLM platforms and other agentic surfaces Collaborate with key cross functional teams to integrate business priorities and strategies into the shopping experience. Establish a baseline performance standard for the platforms and digital touchpoints. Understand the business and shopper engagement from a customer journey and experience perspective and report regularly on performance and identifies actionable insights. Author and present detailed strategic briefs and presentations to inform cross functional partners of business priorities, experience opportunities, Conduct research on market & competitor trends and analyze consumer behavior and internal performance to drive optimization, expansion, and business case development. Track progress, identify blockers, and maintain execution velocity across workstreams Commit to fostering an inclusive environment and actively contributing to a culture where diverse perspectives are sought out and valued Preferred Qualifications Experience in digital commerce and online retail across a variety of platforms Experience working closely with creative and UX teams to create innovative customer experiences and defining shopping journeys on these agentic platforms and touchpoints Demonstrated interest in the long-range future of shopping, discovery, and retail Written and verbal fluency in Mandarin a plus
BA/BS, MBA
a plus Minimum Qualifications 7+y ears demonstrated experience defining and developing consumer facing digital shopping journeys, or e-commerce experience for a premium global brand Deep knowledge of agentic platforms, artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies Experience managing multiple workstreams simultaneously across cross-functional teams Strong executive communication and storytelling skills, both verbally and using Keynote Proven stakeholder management skills Comfortable operating at the frontier of emerging technology in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $149,700 and $225,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
