Job Description
Senior Marketing Manager, Growth & Operations House Money Irvine, CA Job Details Full-time $62,533.50 - $130,000.00 a year 7 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork Bachelor's degree Content marketing Conversion optimization Marketing analytics Marketing operations Full Job Description About the Role We are a fast-moving startup environment building and growing multiple consumer-facing brands. We're looking for a hands-on Senior Marketing Manager, Growth & Operations who can help turn big ideas into smart, well-executed marketing. This is not a role for someone who needs a detailed task list. We need someone who can understand the objective, think through what needs to happen, make recommendations, build the plan, and help execute it. You'll work closely with marketing leadership and founders in an entrepreneurial environment where priorities move quickly and new opportunities come up often. The right person will bring structure without creating bureaucracy, move quickly without sacrificing strategy, and be comfortable both leading work and getting into the details. What You'll Do Translate business and marketing goals into clear campaigns, priorities, timelines, and action plans. Develop marketing recommendations rather than waiting for step-by-step direction. Own campaigns and projects from initial idea through launch, measurement, and optimization. Support paid media, organic social, creator/influencer, email, web, event, partnership, and customer acquisition initiatives. Coordinate internal team members, creatives, contractors, agencies, and vendors to keep projects moving. Write strong creative briefs and provide clear direction to designers, creators, and partners. Review work for strategy, accuracy, quality, and completeness before it reaches leadership. Identify blockers, gaps, and opportunities proactively and recommend solutions. Help establish marketing processes, calendars, reporting, and accountability as the organization grows. Analyze campaign and customer data and turn it into clear recommendations about what we should do next. Manage multiple initiatives across different brands without losing sight of the highest-priority business objectives. Jump into execution when necessary—this is a startup and this is a player-coach role. What We're Looking For Approximately 5-8+ years of progressive marketing experience , including meaningful ownership of campaigns or growth initiatives. Strong strategic thinking paired with a willingness and ability to execute. Experience across several areas of modern marketing rather than one extremely narrow specialty. Strong digital marketing knowledge, including paid acquisition, social, content, email, websites/CRO, analytics, and customer journeys. Strong project and campaign management skills. Comfortable using data to evaluate performance and make recommendations. Excellent written and verbal communication. Strong judgment and ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment. High level of accountability and follow-through. Comfortable challenging an idea respectfully when there is a better approach. Resourceful enough to figure things out without needing constant direction. Experience working in a startup, entrepreneurial company, agency, or other fast-moving environment is highly valuable. You'll Be Successful Here If You... Think beyond the task. You want to understand what we're trying to accomplish and find the best way to get there. Bring recommendations. When you identify a problem, your instinct is to come back with possible solutions—not simply hand the problem upward. Own the outcome. If you say something will get done, people don't need to repeatedly check on it. Can zoom in and out. You're comfortable discussing growth strategy in one meeting and reviewing a landing page, campaign, creative brief, or performance report later that day. Are proactive. When your immediate priorities are complete, you naturally look ahead and identify what should happen next. Move quickly without being careless. You understand that startup environments require speed, experimentation, and adaptability, but you still bring thoughtful judgment to the work. What This Role Is Not This is not a coordinator role where assignments are handed to you one at a time. It is also not a strategy-only position where execution is delegated entirely to others. We're looking for someone who enjoys the space between strategy and execution: someone who can help determine what we should do, why we should do it, and then make sure it actually gets done. How We Work We are an entrepreneurial, growing organization and our culture reflects that. We move quickly, test ideas, solve problems as they arise, and expect everyone to contribute beyond a narrowly defined job description when the business needs it. At the same time, we value clear ownership, strong communication, accountability, thoughtful decision-making, and people who make the team around them better. This position is primarily based in our Irvine office because close collaboration is important at this stage of growth. We offer flexibility when needed, but this is not a fully remote role.
