Job Description

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to support a retail brand's sports-focused marketing efforts in Manhattan Beach, California. This Long-term Contract position will shape and deliver integrated campaigns that connect product stories, athlete partnerships, events, and content across multiple consumer channels. The role calls for a highly organized marketing specialist who can guide initiatives from concept to launch while collaborating with creative, product, social, digital, PR, and retail teams. Success in this position requires strong project leadership, sharp communication skills, and the ability to keep complex campaigns moving in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Create and advance marketing plans that strengthen brand visibility for performance products, major launches, athlete collaborations, and special initiatives.
  • Direct campaigns from early planning through final rollout, ensuring priorities, timelines, and messaging stay aligned across departments.
  • Collaborate with product and creative partners to build seasonal go-to-market approaches for new releases, promotions, and broader brand storytelling efforts.
  • Translate product features, technology details, and intended use cases into clear marketing narratives and effective creative direction.
  • Coordinate the development of campaign materials for digital, social, advertising, retail, public relations, and event activations across a variety of customer touchpoints.
  • Keep cross-functional teams organized by clarifying deliverables, assigning ownership, tracking milestones, and addressing risks before they affect deadlines.
  • Prepare and manage core project documentation such as creative briefs, content plans, shoot schedules, presentations, and customer-facing marketing support materials.
  • Work with social media partners to map seasonal and quarterly content themes tied to product launches, athlete appearances, partnerships, and event-driven storytelling.
  • Identify ways to amplify sponsorships, athlete relationships, competitions, and other brand moments through compelling content and integrated campaign support.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market developments, and emerging marketing trends to uncover insights that can inform future strategy and execution.
