Position Overview The Integrated Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of local marketing strategies that drive customer traffic, revenue growth, brand awareness, and customer loyalty. The successful candidate will own integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, PR, events, community engagement, CRM, new store openings, and promotional initiatives. This role requires strong commercial acumen, budget management capabilities, and the ability to evaluate marketing effectiveness through sales and performance metrics. The role will work closely with Operations, Finance, Headquarters, external agencies, media partners, and community stakeholders to build the OMUSUBI brand and support future expansion across California and the United States. Key Responsibilities Business Growth & Commercial Leadership Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with sales and business growth objectives. Translate business targets into actionable marketing plans and measurable KPIs. Monitor and evaluate marketing investments against traffic, sales, conversion, and ROI targets. Provide recommendations based on customer, market, and competitive insights. Partner with Operations and senior leadership to support revenue growth and store expansion. Integrated Marketing Campaign Management Lead end-to-end planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns. Manage campaigns across digital marketing, social media, PR, local store marketing, influencer marketing, community partnerships, in-store promotions, and customer engagement programs Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful campaign delivery. Measure campaign effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities. Customer Engagement & CRM Develop customer retention and loyalty strategies. Drive customer acquisition, repeat purchase, and customer lifetime value. Manage CRM initiatives including email marketing, SMS Marketing, loyalty programs, customer database growth, customer segmentation strategies Utilize customer insights and analytics to improve engagement and business performance. Public Relations & Event Management Lead planning and execution of marketing events and public relations activities. Organize Store Opening Events, Community Engagement Programs, Brand Activations, Media Events, Influencer Events, and Corporate Partnerships Build relationships with media, community organizations, business associations, and external partners. Drive positive brand exposure and earned media opportunities. New Store Opening & Local Market Development Develop marketing strategies to support new store launches. Execute grand opening campaigns and local market activation plans. Establish partnerships with local communities, schools, organizations, and businesses. Support market penetration and customer acquisition initiatives. Digital Marketing & Social Media Oversee social media strategy and content planning. Manage digital advertising investments across relevant platforms. Monitor online reputation and customer reviews. Optimize marketing activities using customer engagement and performance data. Collaborate with content creators, agencies, and creative partners. Budget & Performance Management Manage annual marketing budgets and campaign spending. Ensure marketing investments are aligned with business priorities. Track and report performance against budget and ROI targets. Evaluate agency and vendor performance. Maintain strong financial discipline and cost effectiveness.
Qualifications Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related discipline. Minimum 8 years of progressive marketing experience, including 3-5 years in a Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing role. Experience in the Restaurant Chains, QSR, Food & Beverage, Retail, Consumer Brands, or FMCG industries Experience working with Asian food brands, hospitality brands, or consumer lifestyle brands is desirable.
Marketing Strategy & Commercial Acumen:
Proven track record in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive business growth, customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and measurable ROI. Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to make data-driven marketing decisions, manage significant budgets, and understand key sales and profitability drivers.
Customer-Centric Mindset:
Deep understanding of customer behavior, loyalty programs, CRM, and customer engagement platforms.
Execution Excellence:
Experience supporting multi-location retail or restaurant operations, including new store, brand, or market launches. Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Event & PR Leadership:
Proven experience in planning and executing successful marketing events, public relations, and brand-building initiatives.
Communication & Influence:
Strong project management, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions, cultures, and external partners.
Technical & Language Proficiency:
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and social media management tools; experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools is an advantage. Fluent English required. Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) is a plus. What Success Looks Like Increase brand awareness across the Los Angeles market. Deliver measurable sales growth through marketing initiatives.
