Zymo Research is seeking a Senior Marketing Operations Manager to own the end-to-end Marketing Operations function, from strategy and roadmap through execution, measurement, and continuous improvement. This role will serve as the operational backbone of the Marketing organization, ensuring that our systems, data, processes, reporting, budgets, and resources support efficient, measurable, and scalable execution. The ideal candidate is a strategic operator who can assess how Marketing works today, define a stronger operating model, establish meaningful KPIs, and independently drive improvements across the organization. Success in this role means building a high-performing Marketing Operations function that improves visibility, measurement, accountability, quality, and scalability across Marketing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Own the Marketing Operations strategy, roadmap, execution, measurement, and continuous improvement across systems, data, processes, reporting, resource planning, and governance. Evaluate and optimize the marketing technology ecosystem, including CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and related integrations. Establish clear standards for campaign tracking, attribution, reporting, data quality, and systems of record. Define and monitor Marketing Operations KPIs that provide visibility into performance, efficiency, spend, and resource utilization. Develop and continuously improve Marketing SOPs, workflows, handoffs, and operating processes. Identify operational bottlenecks, redundancies, and inefficiencies and lead solutions through implementation and adoption. Improve visibility into Marketing budgets, vendors, tools, capacity, and resource allocation to support stronger investment decisions. Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and scale Marketing workflows, including through AI-enabled tools where appropriate. Partner across Marketing, Commercial, Sales, Creative, Web/Technology, Finance, and other functions to improve operational alignment and execution.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Information Systems, or related field. 6-10+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, Marketing Technology, Revenue Operations, CRM Operations, or a related function. Demonstrated experience owning both the strategy and execution of marketing operations initiatives. Strong knowledge of CRM, marketing automation, data governance, campaign measurement, attribution, and reporting. Experience defining KPIs and using data to drive operational and resource decisions. Experience with budget, vendor, technology, or resource management. Strong systems thinking, analytical judgment, and cross-functional leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to independently identify problems, develop recommendations, and drive implementation. Preferred Experience in life sciences, biotechnology, healthcare, SaaS, or another complex B2B environment. Experience with HubSpot, Klaviyo, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, BI/reporting tools, and marketing integrations. Experience with workflow automation, ecommerce, or AI-enabled marketing operations.

Compensation, Benefits, and Perks:
The estimated base compensation range for this position is $120,000-140,000 at the time of posting. Actual compensation details will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
