is a boutique plaintiff personal injury trial firm in Tustin seeking an Associate Attorney who wants meaningful, hands-on litigation experience and the opportunity to grow toward independently managing litigation matters. Our firm handles motor vehicle, premises liability, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death cases. We take an active approach to discovery and law and motion, preparing cases for trial while pursuing strong settlements. You will work directly with experienced attorneys and paralegals, gain substantive experience across different stages of litigation, and take on increasing responsibility as your skills develop. What You'll Do Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, meet-and-confer correspondence, and motions. Research legal issues and analyze evidence relating to liability, causation, and damages. Prepare clients and witnesses for testimony. Participate in depositions, court appearances, mediations, and trials, with supervision appropriate to your experience. Work directly with clients, experts, attorneys, and paralegals to develop evidence and move cases forward. Participate in settlement strategy and negotiations with insurers and opposing counsel. Track litigation deadlines, communicate case developments, and follow through on assigned matters. What We're Looking For Active California State Bar membership in good standing. 1-3 years of civil litigation experience preferred. Personal injury experience is a plus, but not required. Attorneys with insurance-defense experience who are interested in transitioning to plaintiff-side litigation are encouraged to apply. Strong legal research and writing skills. Sound judgment, attention to detail, and reliable deadline management. Experience drafting pleadings, discovery, or motions. Interest in developing deposition and jury trial skills; prior jury trial experience is welcome but not required.
