The Opportunity For more than 35 years, Chris-Tel Construction has partnered with public and private clients across Florida to deliver award-winning projects through Construction Management, Design-Build, and General Contracting services. As we continue to expand our footprint and strengthen our presence throughout Florida, we're looking for an experienced and creative marketing professional to lead our brand, communications, and pursuit marketing efforts. As our Marketing Manager, you'll oversee Chris-Tel's internal and external marketing initiatives, manage proposal and presentation development, and ensure our brand is represented consistently across every platform and interaction. You'll work closely with the Vice President of Strategic Development, Business Development team, and other departments to support the Company's growth objectives while leading and developing the Marketing team. What You'll Do Manage Chris-Tel's branding, marketing, and communication efforts across internal and external channels. Develop and implement marketing strategies that support the Company's growth goals, mission, vision, and reputation. Establish, maintain, and oversee Company branding standards, templates, marketing materials, and communications to ensure consistency across departments. Partner with the Vice President of Strategic Development and the Company's social media firm to develop content aligned with Chris-Tel's brand and objectives. Manage the Company's website and intranet, including redesigns, content coordination, and routine updates. Write and distribute press releases and coordinate media opportunities that promote the Company. Monitor procurement websites and bidding platforms to identify hard-bid, Request for Qualifications (RFQ), and Request for Proposals (RFP) opportunities. Communicate identified opportunities to the appropriate Business Development team members. Manage RFQs, RFPs, proposal submissions, and pursuit-plan development in accordance with solicitation requirements and deadlines. Lead the preparation and coordination of presentations, qualification packages, client letters, and other pursuit-related materials. Use Artificial Intelligence tools to evaluate proposals, presentations, and marketing materials for opportunities to improve quality, consistency, and competitiveness. Plan and oversee Company events, sponsorships, trade shows, industry conferences, and community-engagement initiatives. Represent Chris-Tel at networking events, industry associations, conferences, and community organizations. Promote the Company's services and strengthen its presence within the commercial construction industry. Monitor competitive activity and industry developments to identify emerging opportunities. Track marketing activities, analytics, and key performance indicators to evaluate results and support informed decision-making. Supervise, coach, and support members of the Marketing team, including the Strategic Partnerships Specialist. Collaborate with the Business Development team to align marketing initiatives with pursuit strategies and Company growth objectives. Develop and manage the Marketing department's budget. Who You Are An experienced marketing professional with at least five years of corporate marketing experience working across multiple departments. A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, or a related field is preferred; an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered. Experienced in managing branding, communications, marketing campaigns, and multiple deadline-driven projects. Knowledgeable about the commercial construction industry or experienced in architecture, engineering, construction, or another proposal-driven professional-services environment is preferred. Experienced in leading, coaching, or supervising marketing team members. Skilled in developing RFQs, RFPs, proposals, presentations, qualification packages, and other pursuit materials. Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD. Knowledgeable about graphic design principles and techniques. Able to track and interpret Google Analytics and social media analytics across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Comfortable using or learning Artificial Intelligence tools to improve marketing and proposal content. The flexibility to adjust priorities when circumstances or business needs change. The ability to work independently, take initiative, and move projects forward with limited guidance. Strong leadership skills and the ability to provide clear direction, coaching, and support to team members. The ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with employees, clients, vendors, suppliers, industry partners, and members of the community.
