This role leads the marketing, design, and promotion of workforce initiatives while supporting flagship programs like Leadership Macon and young professional engagement. Responsibilities Coordinate, design, and implement marketing and communication strategies to promote workforce initiatives and programs (Choose Macon campaigns, social media, newsletters, and collateral). Manage and execute the Choose Macon marketing strategy, ensuring consistent branding and outreach across digital, print, and community channels. Support implementation of talent retention and recruitment initiatives including Macon My Move, REALTORS® Network, and professional welcome programs. Plan and implement Leadership Macon in partnership with the Vice President of Operations, advisory board, and facilitators including curriculum planning, monthly sessions, class communication, and alumni engagement. Support planning and promotion of emerging talent retention and recruitment programs outlined in Choose Macon 2030. Coordinate quarterly young professional networking and community engagement events (Macon Area Connections). Attend local and regional expos, resource fairs, and other events to promote workforce initiatives and strengthen partnerships. Complete other departmental tasks including generation of marketing collateral, email campaigns, expense reports, meeting minutes, and vendor coordination. Perform other duties as required and assigned. Education Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field is required. Skills & Experience 2+ years of design experience, including relevant educational coursework, using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design software. Strong content creation and social media management skills. Experience developing and implementing marketing campaigns. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Some knowledge of Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, email platforms, and contact databases. Ability to work with diverse audiences and maintain confidentiality.
