Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Market Manager to lead our regional operations with passion and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development and execution of strategic initiatives to grow market share, enhance customer relationships, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Your leadership will drive sales performance, foster a customer-centric environment, and uphold the highest standards of financial and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing coaching, motivation, and performance management to achieve business goals. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing customers, emphasizing upselling opportunities. Oversee loan origination, processing, underwriting, and mortgage servicing activities to ensure seamless customer experiences. Maintain deep industry knowledge of retail banking, mortgage lending, and compliance regulations including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), TILA (Truth in Lending Act), Fair Housing regulations, FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines, and banking regulatory compliance. Cultivate strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service, managing client communication effectively, and addressing concerns promptly. Monitor fraud prevention and detection measures to safeguard assets and ensure adherence to financial compliance standards. Manage cash handling procedures, debit & credit transactions, and basic math calculations accurately while utilizing financial software for loan processing and account management. Qualifications Proven experience in mortgage services, lending, or retail banking management with a strong understanding of mortgage lending processes. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of industry regulations such as Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), TILA, Fair Housing laws, FNMA guidelines, and banking compliance standards. Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build trust with clients and team members alike. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coaching; adept at client communication strategies. Proficiency in financial software applications related to loan origination, processing, underwriting, and mortgage servicing. Basic math skills including debits & credits calculations; familiarity with loan processing steps is preferred. Prior experience in sales management or business management within financial services or retail banking is highly desirable.
