Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of the U.S. marketing strategy, with a strong focus on demand generation, pipeline growth, customer engagement, and revenue. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role requiring someone with solid marketing experience, strong business acumen, and the confidence and presence to influence sales leadership across the U.S. The ideal candidate will be comfortable partnering directly with territory managers and sales leaders, challenging ideas when appropriate, gaining buy-in, and turning marketing initiatives into measurable business growth. The Senior Marketing Manager will oversee integrated marketing campaigns, lead management, performance analytics, CRM processes, external partners, and the marketing budget while managing a team of Lead Development Representatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the annual U.S. marketing strategy and plan in alignment with overall business objectives. Partner closely with Sales and territory managers across the U.S. to identify growth opportunities and develop marketing strategies that support revenue goals. Influence and collaborate with sales leaders and territory managers to drive adoption of marketing initiatives and improve lead generation, conversion, and pipeline growth. Develop demand generation strategies across customer segments, territories, and sales channels. Analyze market trends, competitive activity, customer behavior, and growth opportunities to identify areas for expansion. Lead digital and multichannel marketing campaigns, content initiatives, events, trade shows, and sales support programs. Work with Sales to establish lead qualification, assignment, tracking, and follow-up processes. Manage and develop a team of 2 Lead Development Representatives , establishing goals, priorities, productivity standards, and performance expectations. Set measurable targets for leads and opportunities and continuously optimize marketing efforts based on performance and ROI. Ensure leads are properly assigned, tracked, updated, and moved through the appropriate stages of the sales funnel. Serve as a key connection point between Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Lead Development, and company leadership. Translate marketing investment into qualified leads, opportunities, pipeline, and revenue. Manage and maintain Salesforce as a central system for tracking leads, opportunities, and sales activity. Develop and present dashboards and reports covering marketing investment, leads, opportunities, conversion rates, pipeline, sales, and ROI. Manage external agencies, vendors, and marketing partners. Oversee the annual marketing budget and make data-driven decisions regarding marketing investments. Travel periodically within the U.S. to visit clients and support sales initiatives.
Qualifications:
7+ years of progressive marketing experience , preferably in B2B marketing, demand generation, growth marketing, or market development. Demonstrated experience developing and executing marketing strategies that contribute directly to business growth. Proven ability to partner with and influence sales leaders, territory managers, and other key stakeholders . Strong leadership presence and confidence communicating with individuals at all levels of an organization. Experience managing marketing budgets with accountability for measurable business results, including leads, opportunities, pipeline, revenue, or ROI. Proven experience managing campaigns from strategy and conception through execution, measurement, and optimization. Experience leading internal teams and managing agencies, vendors, or external partners. Strong understanding of digital marketing, segmentation, marketing automation, CRM, and conversion analytics. Proficiency in Salesforce and experience using CRM data to manage and improve the sales funnel. Experience with digital analytics, paid media, email marketing, and marketing automation tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to turn data into actionable business decisions. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint . Experience in a B2B or sales-driven environment is strongly preferred.
