Are you the type of leader who gets excited by building rather than simply maintaining? Ohio & Indiana Car Wash Holdings is expanding into Illinois, and we're looking for an experienced Regional Manager to launch and lead our newest market. This isn't an opportunity to inherit an established operation, it's an opportunity to build one. What You'll Do As Regional Manager, you will: Lead the launch of our Illinois market from pre-construction through grand opening. Recruit, hire, train, and develop the market's first General Managers and leadership teams. Partner with executive leadership on new store openings and operational readiness. Build a culture centered around accountability, customer service, and leadership development. Coach and develop future District Managers and General Managers. Drive operational excellence, financial performance, and customer satisfaction. Own regional P&L performance, staffing strategy, labor management, and membership growth. Ensure every location consistently executes company standards. Partner with Marketing, HR, Construction, and Facilities throughout each new opening. Help identify future expansion opportunities throughout Illinois. This role is designed to grow as the market grows. What We're Looking For We're less concerned about whether you've worked in the car wash industry and more interested in your ability to build successful operations.
Ideal candidates will have:
5+ years of multi-unit operations leadership. Experience opening new locations, markets, districts, or territories. A proven history of building high-performing leadership teams. Strong coaching and people development skills. Experience managing financial performance and P&L accountability. Exceptional organizational and execution skills. The ability to lead through change and ambiguity. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience in restaurant, retail, convenience stores, automotive services, hospitality, fitness, or other multi-unit service businesses is highly encouraged. Travel & Training This is a unique opportunity that requires flexibility during the launch period. Schedule accomodations are To ensure success, the selected candidate will spend approximately three months training within our existing Ohio and Indiana operations before returning to Illinois to prepare for the market launch. We understand this is a significant commitment and will work with the successful candidate to build a flexible travel schedule that allows for regular trips home during the training period. Approximately 30+ days before the first grand opening , the Regional Manager will transition full-time to Illinois to lead hiring, onboarding, training, LSM, and all operational readiness activities. Following the market launch, travel will primarily be throughout the Illinois region with occasional travel to company headquarters.
