Hospice Director of Marketing/Liaison Solace Hospice and Palliative Care Saint Charles, IL Job Details Full-time $75,000 - $95,000 a year 4 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Customer relationship building Professional ethics Driver's License Associate's degree Full Job Description About Us Solace Hospice & Palliative Care is a Medicare/Medicaid-certified, Joint Commission-accredited hospice provider dedicated to bringing light and hope to patients and families every step of the way. We're looking for a Marketer to build relationships with referral sources and represent Solace throughout the community. About the Role Reporting to the Executive Director/Administrator, this is a hands-on, community-facing role responsible for building and maintaining relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and other referral sources. You'll be the face of Solace in the field — educating providers and the community about our services and helping grow our presence across our service area. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $75,000-$95,000 annually , commensurate with experience, existing referral relationships, and territory. Mileage for use of a personal vehicle for company business is reimbursed per Solace policy, in addition to salary. What You'll Do Establish and maintain positive working relationships with referral and payer sources Conduct regular in-person visits to physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and other community partners Inform Medicare beneficiaries and the community about Solace's services Maintain working knowledge of Solace's markets, referral sources, and competitor positioning Maintain knowledge of community resources and help connect clients to services outside Solace's scope Support census growth through consistent outreach and relationship-building Identify opportunities for new referral relationships and service awareness Keep accurate, up-to-date records of contacts, visit history, and referral trends Track and report weekly outreach activity and results to the Administrator Represent Solace at community events and health fairs Conduct all outreach and referral development activities in compliance with the federal Anti-Kickback Statute, CMS hospice Conditions of Participation, and Solace's compliance policies Develop working knowledge of applicable state and federal hospice regulatory requirements What You'll Bring Associate's degree with 2+ years of marketing, sales, or outreach experience (healthcare or hospice experience preferred); Bachelor's degree a plus Strong communication, relationship-building, and public speaking skills Self-motivated and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision Organized, reliable, and able to manage a territory/schedule autonomously High degree of integrity, professionalism, and accountability Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, proof of insurance, and willingness to travel locally to provider sites daily
