Overview PRC is hiring a Food Market Manager to provide management and oversight of our Food Market in Westmont. This role is responsible for the effective and efficient management of the operations of the Food Market, according to program goals and strategies. This is a full-time position, working 40 hours/week.

•12:45 pm Responsibilities Manage daily operations of assigned food market Manage the food market client registration process Assist with the effective and efficient delivery of other food programs, including but not limited to online ordering and home delivery Manage the food rescue program, schedule and assignment of volunteer drivers for assigned location, ensuring all food rescue activities adhere to legal and food safety guidelines, internal policies, and other contractual agreements Train, schedule, and provide daily supervision of all food market volunteers Provide ongoing training and development to food market volunteers Oversee all use of equipment used in the food market, including but not limited to, freezers, coolers, baler, pallet jack, walkie stacker, etc. Identify food market and other food service volunteer staffing needs for recruitment Manage food inventory and budget Manage the assigned food market hours of operation schedule, suggesting adjustments, changes and additional distributions as needed Drive PRC vehicles to pick up food from area retailers or community organizations Build positive relationships with appropriate PRC staff members, volunteers, and community organizations to maintain high levels of engagement Maintain a clean and organized market Monitor and maintain food market equipment for proper and safe operation Participate in and maintain all required training and certifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred Five (5) years of supervisory experience, preferably in nonprofit management, retail, food service or other comparable area Experience supervising volunteers preferred Experience with logistics and operations management preferred Experience operating warehouse equipment, pallet jack and/or driving company van preferred Inventory management experience preferred Class C driver's license or the ability to obtain a Class C license within 6 months of employment Class 3 forklift operator certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of employment Food Handling Certification or ability to obtain within 1 month of employment To apply, please send your resume and minimum pay requirements
