We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Marketing Director with proven business-to-business sales experience , leadership abilities, and a passion for growing relationships. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being out in the community, developing strategic partnerships, leading marketing initiatives, and driving measurable growth. Position Summary The Marketing Director will lead all marketing, referral development, community outreach, and brand initiatives for TruForm Surgery across our Brighton, Lansing, and Fenton locations. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic planning and execution. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable building relationships with referring providers, can inspire and develop team members, and understands how to create marketing initiatives that generate measurable business growth. This position requires travel between all three office locations and spending 2-3 days per week in the field meeting with referral partners, attending networking events, and representing the practice within the community. Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Referral Growth Develop and maintain strong relationships with referring dentists, physicians, specialists, and community partners. Conduct in-person marketing visits 2-3 days per week to referral offices. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase patient referrals. Plan and execute referral appreciation initiatives and strategic outreach campaigns. Monitor referral trends and implement strategies to increase market share. Represent TruForm Surgery at networking events, community functions, and industry meetings. Marketing Strategy Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that support practice growth. Oversee digital marketing initiatives including website content, email marketing, social media, and paid advertising. Track and analyze marketing performance using key performance indicators (KPIs). Recommend new marketing opportunities based on market trends and analytics. Manage marketing budgets and maximize return on investment. Social Media & Content Creation Plan, create, and publish engaging content across all social media platforms. Capture high-quality photo and video content within the practice and during community events. Maintain consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels. Increase online engagement, reviews, and community awareness. Collaborate with providers and staff to showcase procedures, patient education, and practice culture. Leadership & Team Development Lead and mentor the marketing team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Develop marketing systems and standard operating procedures. Train team members on outreach strategies, branding, and customer service excellence. Collaborate with practice leadership to align marketing initiatives with organizational goals. Drive innovation and identify opportunities for operational improvement. Event Planning & Community Engagement Plan and coordinate educational events, Lunch & Learns, open houses, referral appreciation events, community sponsorships, and patient appreciation events. Coordinate marketing materials, promotional items, and event logistics. Build community partnerships that enhance brand recognition. Performance & Analytics Track referral growth, lead generation, conversion rates, and campaign performance. Prepare monthly marketing reports with actionable insights. Continuously evaluate strategies and adjust based on measurable outcomes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, business development, or B2B sales. Proven success in relationship-based sales and account management. Leadership or management experience preferred. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Experience with social media management and content creation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/marketing platforms. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to travel regularly between Brighton, Lansing, and Fenton.
