Brand Manager -
Design & Visual Communications Location:
St.
Joseph, MI Schedule:
Part-time, approximately 12-24 hours per week Position Summary Edgewater Resources is seeking a Brand Manager to lead and execute our brand identity across all platforms. This includes print, digital, online, and project deliverables. This is a hands-on role for someone who can both design at a high level and build systems that ensure consistency across a multidisciplinary engineering and design team. You will shape how our work is presented—internally and externally—through clear, refined, and disciplined visual/copy communication. This position is ideally an in-person part-time in the St. Joseph,MI office. Our work spans marinas, harbors, shorelines, and waterfront developments across the world. Role Overview The Brand Manager is responsible for maintaining and advancing Edgewater's brand while producing high-quality design work across a wide range of applications. This role blends creative direction, technical design execution, and brand system management. You will work closely with leadership, technical/design staff, and marketing to ensure all outward-facing materials reflect a cohesive and elevated standard. Brand Stewardship
  • Maintain and evolve existing firm-wide brand standards
  • Ensure consistency across all visual communications and platforms
  • Guide visual direction for marketing, proposals, and project deliverables Design & Production
  • Design print advertisements, presentations, and digital content
  • Support proposal and pursuit efforts with high-quality graphics and layouts
  • Collaborate with technical staff to produce clear, professional project visuals and documents
  • Copy editing communications and products as requested
  • Branded promotional products sourcing and design Online Engagement
  • LinkedIn posts
  • Existing website management
  • Search visibility Systems & Asset Management
  • Develop and/or maintain templates (Word, PowerPoint, InDesign)
  • Organize and manage image libraries, graphics, and brand assets
  • Improve workflows to ensure efficient and consistent output across the team Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communications, or related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop required)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word
  • Strong working knowledge of social media and website management
  • Demonstrated ability to apply design within structured templates and standards
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency Preferred
  • Copy and content editing skills. Go beyond spell and grammar check - edit for readability and messaging.
  • Experience in engineering, architecture, or professional services environments
  • Experience building and managing brand systems and templates
  • Ability to work effectively with technical teams and complex content What Success Looks Like
