Responsibilities:
Drive new business development and market expansion for the Competence Center across targeted U.S. market segments Develop and execute market-driven strategic plans (STRAP) to achieve sustainable competitive advantage and long-term profitable growth Conduct market, customer, and competitive analysis to inform positioning, opportunity selection, and strategic decisions Partner with Sales, Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure pricing, costing, margins, and risk/reward decisions support growth strategy Serve as the Voice of the Customer by building strong customer relationships and translating insights into strategic priorities Support sales efforts through proposal development, pricing strategy, negotiations, customer meetings, and prospect identification through deal closure Act as the commercial champion across global and cross-functional teams, influencing product roadmaps, identifying technology gaps, and managing Application Engineers and Product Management resources
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field 7+ years of experience in market development, customer development, or sales, preferably selling technical or engineered solutions Strong experience conducting market analysis and developing data-driven strategies Industry knowledge in aerospace, hydraulics, sealing solutions, or related industrial markets is preferred Proven commercial and financial acumen, including pricing strategy, margin management, and profitability optimization Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross-functional and global stakeholders Demonstrated leadership, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
