  • Purpose
  • Leads regional marketing efforts by managing a team of professionals who develop high-quality proposals and collateral that support business development and sales initiatives. This role ensures alignment with brand standards, streamlines marketing processes and drives strategies that support both local market needs and firmwide objectives.
  • Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Direction
  • + Provides day-to-day leadership, coaching and operational oversight to a regional team of marketing team leads and specialists.
  • At the Operational and Company Level
  • + Operates as a mid-level management role with supervisory responsibilities. Collaborates with senior marketing and regional leadership to shape marketing strategy while maintaining responsibility for team performance, talent development and tactical execution.
  • Do the Work
  • + Lead and develop marketing specialists and team leads across multiple regions, ensuring consistent execution, quality standards and alignment with business priorities.
+ Serve as senior marketing advisor to operations, business development and technical leaders on strategic pursuits and growth initiatives. + Direct staff assignments, workload distribution and capacity planning across assigned regions to support pursuit demands and operational objectives. + Provide coaching, mentoring and performance management for team leads and direct reports, supporting career development, employee engagement and leadership growth. + Partner with Marketing Managers and Regional Marketing Managers to align staffing resources, pursuit priorities and marketing strategies across regions. + Lead pursuit strategy development for high-value opportunities by facilitating go/no-go discussions, pursuit planning sessions, win theme development, competitive positioning efforts and interview preparation activities in partnership with operations and business development leadership. + Oversee quality assurance of proposals, qualifications, presentations and marketing collateral to ensure alignment with brand standards and pursuit objectives. + Monitor pursuit performance, win/loss trends and marketing effectiveness metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and increased competitiveness. + Lead development and maintenance of strategic content libraries, market-specific messaging and reusable marketing assets. + Drive adoption of marketing technologies, CRM standards and process improvements that improve consistency, efficiency and pursuit effectiveness across assigned teams. + Lead development of pursuit strategies, win themes, competitive positioning and interview preparation for high-priority opportunities. + Support recruiting, hiring and onboarding of marketing staff while helping build a high-performing and collaborative team culture. + Collaborate with Marketing Managers and the marketing department leadership to support firmwide initiatives, strategic planning and organizational priorities. + Assist in leading training programs and facilitate knowledge sharing, pursuit best practices and peer development initiatives that strengthen team performance and marketing effectiveness. + Support integration activities associated with acquisitions, organizational changes and strategic growth initiatives by promoting alignment with established marketing practices and standards.

+ Successfully manages staffing capacity across multiple regions, balancing workloads and supporting business priorities. + Improves proposal win rates, shortlist percentages and pursuit outcomes through effective strategy and leadership. + Delivers high-quality proposals, presentations and marketing materials with minimal revisions and strong internal client satisfaction. + Develops future marketing leaders through coaching, mentoring and succession planning efforts. + Builds strong collaborative relationships with Marketing Managers and Regional Marketing Managers to ensure alignment and resource optimization. + Implements process improvements that increase efficiency, consistency and scalability across regions. + Demonstrates effective decision-making and prioritization when managing competing deadlines and multiple regional demands. + Drives adoption of marketing technologies, CRM compliance and best practices across assigned teams. + Provides data-driven recommendations based on pursuit metrics, market intelligence and performance analysis. + Maintains consistent application of brand standards and messaging across all assigned regions. + Serves as a trusted advisor to operations leadership, business development teams and marketing leadership.
  • Qualifications
  • + Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field preferred.
Commensurate experience considered in lieu of degree. + Ten or more (10+) years professional services marketing experience with emphasis and clear understanding of proposal development. (Architectural/ Engineering/Construction industry is preferred). + Two years of experience acting in a leadership capacity. + Proven track record of innovation, leadership, and creativity. + Demonstrated proficiency in a variety of current marketing concepts, practices and procedures. + Outstanding communication and presentation skills. + Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) and Microsoft Office. + Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines. + Demonstrated ability to think proactively, exercise sound judgment, be resourceful, and possess confidence in working with senior colleagues. + Flexibility to work as needed to meet deadlines.

Range $115,000-$128,000 and includes a comprehensive benefits plan.
