  • Job Description:
  • + Lead operational governance across Bill Payments and Transfers products, ensuring consistent execution of controls, monitoring, issue management, and risk mitigation activities across the portfolio.

+ Own audit engagement activities for Bill Payments and Transfers, including coordinating audit responses, managing audit issues and action plans, and driving timely, sustainable resolution.

+ Establish and maintain a comprehensive operational monitoring framework by evaluating metrics, controls, and key risk indicators across products to ensure appropriate coverage, identify gaps, and support effective risk management.

+ Partner closely with Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Control partners to understand product functionality, operational processes, and emerging risks, ensuring products operate within established product, operational, control, and risk management frameworks.

+ Lead the execution of operational improvement initiatives and governance action plans, including validation and quality assurance activities, to ensure effective implementation and adherence to established standards.

  • Responsibilities:
  • + Contributes to the development of digital strategies and process transformations to deliver industry leading solutions with impactful business results + Manages a large program or a portfolio of projects overseeing timeline, budgets, and resource allocation + Promotes governance, risk management, and analytics best practices to drive roadmap and prioritization at the portfolio level + Supports a program or portfolio business case, funding, progress status, promotion, and advocacy across the bank + Crafts powerful narratives and storytelling to drive awareness and rally support amongst executives across the bank + Builds alliances, negotiates, and influences stakeholders across multiple levels and functions within the bank to drive outcomes + Demonstrates critical thinking and leverages findings and data to make informed decisions across digital delivery, prioritization, negotiation, hiring, and staffing activities •
Required Qualifications:
  • + Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, product management, operational risk, business controls, audit, compliance, governance, process improvement, program management, or a related business function.

+ Experience leading or supporting operational governance, risk management, control oversight, audit engagement, issue management, or process improvement initiatives within a complex organization.

+ Demonstrated ability to design, evaluate, and enhance metrics, controls, monitoring processes, and governance frameworks to support business objectives and operational effectiveness.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex issues, identify trends and opportunities, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

+ Experience performing root cause analysis and driving cross-functional action plans to improve processes, controls, operational performance, or customer outcomes.

+ Proven ability to influence and drive results across multiple stakeholder groups, including Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Audit, or equivalent business partners, without direct management authority.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex operational, governance, and risk-related topics to leadership and business partners.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
