Job Description
About the Position Hobbs is looking for a Brand & Marketing Manager to lead the day-to-day marketing for Hobbs Tavern & Brewing Company and Hobbs Brewing Company. We are looking for someone who is organized, creative, self-motivated and, most importantly, good at getting things done. This is a hands-on position. You will manage our marketing calendar, plan and promote events, manage our social media and websites, promote the Tavern and our beer brands, work with our sales team, and help make sure Hobbs stays visible and relevant to both our customers and the greater community. We already have established brands, so we are not looking for someone to come in and reinvent them. We also don't need every social post, event poster or promotion to become a major design project. We want good ideas, consistent execution and marketing that helps bring people through our doors and sell beer. What You'll Do Events and Promotions Develop and maintain a calendar of events and promotions for Hobbs Schedule and coordinate live music, special events, beer releases and community events Come up with new events and promotions that can help drive business Make sure events are promoted well in advance through social media, our websites, email and other appropriate channels Coordinate with our Tavern, brewery and taproom teams to make sure everyone knows what is happening Attend and help manage important events when needed Look at what worked, what didn't and what we should do differently next time Tavern Marketing Promote Hobbs Tavern and help drive customer traffic Market our food, beer, events, seasonal offerings and special promotions Look for creative ways to build business during slower days and times of year Build relationships and promotions with local businesses, tourism organizations and community groups Make sure customers can easily find accurate information about Hobbs online Brewery and Beer Marketing Promote Hobbs Brewing Company and our beer brands Help plan and execute new beer releases and seasonal campaigns Work closely with our sales team to support wholesale beer sales Help provide distributors and retailers with the information and promotional materials they need Coordinate beer launches across the brewery, Tavern, taproom, social media, email and retail market Help make sure our marketing efforts support what our sales team is trying to accomplish in the market Social Media and Digital Marketing Manage Hobbs social media accounts Maintain a consistent and useful social media calendar Take photos and short videos and create engaging posts about our beer, food, people and events Manage email marketing and customer communications Maintain and update Hobbs websites Keep hours, events, beer information, menus and other important information current online Maintain our Google Business listings and other important online listings Coordinate paid social and digital advertising when appropriate Pay attention to what is working and adjust accordingly Merchandise and Promotional Materials Maintain our retail merchandise and promotional inventory Coordinate reorders and work with merchandise vendors Keep retail displays current and organized Coordinate point-of-sale materials for the Tavern, brewery, distributors and retailers Help identify opportunities for new merchandise and promotional items This is not a graphic design position. Basic design skills are helpful, but we don't expect this person to spend days designing T-shirts, posters or other materials. When specialized design, photography, video or web work is needed, you will help coordinate with outside vendors. What We're Looking For We care more about finding the right person than finding someone with a specific degree or resume.
