This role will lead a team of three SEM specialists while developing and executing strategies that increase search visibility, website traffic, qualified leads, conversions, and revenue. The ideal candidate will have a strong agency background, hands-on expertise across both SEO and paid search, and a proven track record of delivering measurable search results. Legal industry experience is a plus. Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of three SEM specialists , providing coaching, training, performance guidance, and professional development. Develop and execute integrated SEO, AIO, and paid search strategies to improve keyword rankings, organic sessions, conversions, lead generation, and overall digital performance. Manage both SEO and paid search initiatives , including Google Ads, keyword research, campaign optimization, on-page and off-page SEO, local SEO, and technical SEO. Analyze and report on performance , using data to identify opportunities and provide weekly updates to leadership on rankings, traffic, conversions, ad performance, and ROI. Conduct website audits and implement SEO improvements , including site architecture, internal linking, technical optimization, content optimization, and user experience. Optimize paid search campaigns and budgets to maximize conversions and ensure effective use of advertising spend. Collaborate with content, marketing, and web development teams to execute search strategies and improve digital performance. Stay current on search engine algorithm changes, AIO/AI developments, and emerging SEM tools and technologies. Develop and maintain SEM best practices, SOPs, and training materials for the team. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in SEO/SEM , preferably within a digital marketing or agency environment . Previous experience leading, mentoring, or supervising an SEM/SEO team . Strong hands-on experience with both SEO and paid search/Google Ads . Proven track record of measurable SEO results, including improved keyword rankings, increased organic sessions, and increased conversions/leads . Proficiency with SEMrush, GA4, Google Search Console, and Google Ads/AdWords . Strong understanding of SEO strategy, keyword research, content optimization, analytics, and search performance. Legal marketing/SEO experience is a plus.
Schedule:
4 days onsite / 1 day remote.
