Junior Account Manager - Cosmetic Manufacturing

Job Description

Job Summary The Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing client relationships within a cosmetic manufacturing company. This role serves as the primary point of contact for beauty, skincare, haircare, and personal care brand clients, ensuring successful product development, production execution, and customer satisfaction. The Account Manager coordinates cross-functional teams including R&D, regulatory, production, packaging, supply chain, and quality assurance to deliver products on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain relationships with existing cosmetic brand clients. Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal departments. Oversee product development timelines from concept through commercialization. Coordinate with R&D teams regarding formulations, samples, revisions, and testing. Monitor manufacturing schedules, inventory, and order fulfillment. Provide project updates to clients. Attend industry trade shows, client meetings, and product launches as needed. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or related field. 1+ years of account management, sales, or project management experience in cosmetic manufacturing, personal care, beauty, or CPG industries. Knowledge of cosmetic product development and manufacturing processes. Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Experience working with ERP/CRM systems. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications Experience with contract manufacturing/private label cosmetics. Familiarity with FDA cosmetic regulations and GMP standards. Existing relationships within the beauty or personal care industry. $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
