Position Overview:

The Digital Content Assistant cares for the programming and editorial integrity of Raiders.com, the Raiders app, YouTube, the Raiders Podcast Network and the contents therein. The role is focused on the quality and quantity of the content that helps maintain a best-in-class status for the brand. Attention to detail, accuracy and collaboration are key traits to be successful in this role. Essential Job Functions Administrating the daily publishing and curating of content to digital platforms, including Raiders.com, the Raiders' app, YouTube, the Raiders Podcast Network and more. Managing interior Raiders.com pages, such as the team roster, player and coach bios, the depth chart, the injury report, transactions, All-Time Roster and more. Maintaining the overall integrity of Raiders.com and its contents through backreading, editing and polishing. Write accurate headlines and descriptions for videos and podcasts. Providing backend support for livestreams to Raiders.com, Raiders' app and across social platforms. Facilitating the tracking of content series and inventory, and by extension, their distribution across the Raiders' digital platforms. This could include photos, videos, podcasts, articles and more. Participate with teams internally and externally in the creation and distribution of content that best activates new audiences. Maintain strong understanding and journalistic sensibility when it comes to Raider news All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred. 1+ years of digital media experience required. Experience in digital media, social media, journalism, content marketing, or related field. Experience with a Content Management System (CMS) required. Sports experience preferred. Strong knowledge and understanding of football preferred. Ability to juggle multiple tasks during a typical workday. In sports, this may translate to non-traditional hours. Strong grammar knowledge, including AP Style. Strong understanding of SEO best practices and optimization. Ability to work extended hours and flexible schedule including nights and weekends as needed.
