OVERVIEW
The Senior Manager, Marketing Operations is responsible for leading the operational infrastructure that enables the Marketing organization to execute effectively and efficiently. This role oversees Marketing Operations, Project Management, Creative Operations, marketing technology, reporting and analytics, and shared services support. Serving as the operational backbone of the Marketing function, this leader establishes the processes, governance, tools, and capabilities that translate strategy into execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Operations & People Leadership Lead and evolve Libbey's Marketing Operations function. Establish and maintain operational processes, workflows, governance, and service standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability. Lead, coach, and develop team members. Drive accountability, succession planning, and talent development. Marketing Technology & Data Governance Own the marketing technology roadmap and ecosystem. Improve platform adoption, automation, reporting capabilities, and data integrity. Ensure consistency, compliance, and data quality across marketing systems. Analytics & Business Insights Develop marketing KPIs, dashboards, and reporting. Deliver insights that improve decision-making and resource allocation. Project Management Office (PMO) Lead project intake, prioritization, and resource planning. Ensure effective project execution and stakeholder communication. Creative Operations Oversee the operating model supporting Libbey's Creative Studio. Optimize workflows from intake through asset delivery. Shared Services & Delivery Excellence Manage centralized intake and service delivery processes. Balance competing business needs while maximizing resource effectiveness.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Operations, Communications, Project Management, or a related field; MBA preferred. 10+ years of progressive experience in Marketing Operations, Shared Services, Project Management, Business Operations, or related disciplines. 5+ years of people leadership experience. Experience leading operational excellence, governance, analytics, and marketing technology initiatives.
