Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Meat Market Manager to lead our meat department. This is a full-time position requiring a dynamic individual who is passionate about the grocery industry and dedicated to maintaining high standards of service and operations.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the meat market, ensuring efficient workflow and compliance with all company policies and procedures. Achieve sales and profitability targets while controlling costs and maintaining inventory levels. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and addressing their needs in a courteous, fast, and helpful manner. Develop, train, and retain a high-performing team, fostering a positive work environment. Maintain safety standards and ensure all employees are properly trained in safe practices. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and serviced. Manage scheduling to ensure adequate staffing during weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of meat market experience in the retail grocery industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team. Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Commitment to upholding safety and quality standards.
