Purpose of Position:
As Director of Marketing Strategy, you'll own the forecasting, budget alignment, and ROI strategy for marketing spend across all 40+ branches nationwide — directly shaping how we hit company-wide Net Sales targets. You'll lead a team of Divisional Marketing Managers, report to the VP of Marketing Planning and Analytics, and serve as the analytical backbone connecting local marketing execution to national strategy. This is a strong fit for marketing analytics leaders coming from multi-location, franchise, or home services businesses who are fluent in marketing mix modeling, media attribution, budget forecasting, and cross-functional P&L ownership — and who want to build that function at scale inside a company still in high-growth mode.
Key Role Accountabilities:
Serve as the primary interface between Marketing and FP&A and supports the Marketing team and through creating and managing the marketing forecast models. Collaborate with senior level marketing leaders on the overall marketing strategy and approach to determine budget plans and performance expectations. Utilize historical marketing performance data to develop long-term budget plans and forecasts to showcase spend and appointments per day by product vertical at each branch location. Take necessary action to add or reduce spend levels for different marketing sources to ensure that spend remains close to the budget and on track to achieve the company appointment targets. Develop data-driven forecasts to accurately predict the appointment and sales volumes expected from the marketing plan utilizing historical performance data. Train and develop Divisional Marketing Managers to effectively manage branch-level marketing budgets with the goal of achieving the sales target at the lowest possible marketing cost.
Minimum Requirements:
5+ years of experience with forecasting and modeling for performance based marketing. Bachelors Degree, required. Proven experience developing and executing efficiency improvement plans to streamline the marketing budgeting and target-setting process through automations. Previous experience utilizing AI and ML in performance modeling and forecasting, preferred Advanced proficiency in Excel, required. To note, this role will require significant analysis and data structuring using Excel. Advanced proficiency with data analysis and performance forecast modeling using analytics platforms such as Databricks and Power BI, required.
